More than 100 personal items fromMatthew Perry’s estate will hit theauction blockon June 5, featuring lots ofFriendsmemorabilia likeautographed scripts,framed magazine covers,character bobbleheads,VHS screeners, even a Tiffany & Co. star-shaped paperweight to celebrate the NBC sitcom’s 100th episode.
There’s also severaltrophiesthe actor won during his decade playing Chandler Bing, including a 1995 Screen Actors Guild Award and 2004 Kids' Choice Award.
But the most instantly recognizable item in the auction is Perry’s own reproduction of theyellow peephole framethat hung on the back of Monic’s apartment door — which has a starting bid of $500.
Perry was such a massive Batman fan, he actually built a“Batcave”at his home. And many of his collectibles will be up for auction, fromcoffee mugsand cufflinks to his absolute “favorite thing,” alimited-edition watchcreated to commemorateThe Dark Knight Risesthat Perry found in Hong Kong.

And it’s all for a good cause. Net proceeds from the auction will benefit theMatthew Perry Foundation, which works to end the stigma of addiction.
The beloved star struggled with drugs and alcohol for decades before he suffered afatal overdoseat his Los Angeles home in October 2023. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, the 54-year-old actor’scause of deathwas the “acute effects of ketamine.”
A subsequent investigation led to the indictment of five individuals charged with providing ketamine to Perry, including two doctors, a friend, and personal assistant, all of whom either pleaded guilty or were convicted. In April, “Ketamine Queen” Jasveen Sangha wassentenced to 15 yearsin prison for selling the drug to Perry that ultimately killed him.
“Matthew Perry was someone people felt they truly knew. Through his work and his honesty, he built a connection with audiences around the world that went far beyond the screen,” says Joe Maddalena, Executive Vice President at Heritage Auctions. “This auction brings together the personal items and passions that shaped his life, offering fans a meaningful way to connect with his story.”
