Jenny McCarthy says she used to hang out with the Dancing With the Stars cast after their shows.

After 10 years of afterparty dancing, judge Derek Hough said, “You’re the first person I can honestly say there’s no hope for.”

Still, the John Tucker Must Die alum has said she’s been invited to compete in the ballroom.

Don’t expect to see Jenny McCarthy compete on Dancing With the Stars.

The Masked SInger judge discussed the show with her guest, former competitor Selma Blair, on Tuesday’s episode of The Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg Show.

Though the John Tucker Must Die star said she has “two left feet,” she has spent time with the cast.

“You know, my sister was a makeup artist for 10 years on that show. Actually, longer, 15 years or however long,” McCarthy explained. “And so, every show there was an afterparty, and every afterparty, I would attend, and we would have a ball with the dancers. So, every afterparty, we drink, and they teach me how to try to ballroom dance.”

She continued, “Ten years they tried and finally [judge] Derek [Hough] said, ‘You’re the first person I can honestly say there’s no hope for.’”

Entertainment Weekly has reached out to a rep for Hough.

Blair, who competed on the show in 2022, didn’t believe her.

“I’m a cheerleader,” McCarthy said. “I’m a stiff-armed cheerleader.”

She asked if Blair remembered Steve Martin’s 1979 movie The Jerk, because she is like that.

“I can’t find the rhythm,” McCarthy said, adding that her son, 24-year-old Evan, dances the same way.

Blair, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2018, had to leave season 31 for health reasons.

(McCarthy noted that Blair’s appearance had been recorded before the Cruel Intentions actress was arrested for allegedly biting and punching flight attendants during a recent “medical emergency.”)

Despite her alleged hopeless dancing, the Singled Out alum explained to The Hollywood Reporter in 2012 that she had been invited more than once to enter the ballroom on the popular ABC reality show.

“They ask me every year, and I just can’t do it,” McCarthy said. “I tell them why: ‘You guys keep saying every year you’re going to get A-List people and then it’s the girl that was with George Clooney.’ They better talk the walk or walk the talk — whatever that saying is.”

McCarthy should probably ask her husband, New Kids on the Block star Donnie Wahlberg, for help with dancing in general. His boy band had some pretty sweet moves back in the day.
