Former Steelers DT blasts Giants' Abdul Carter over Jaxson Dart criticism

TheNFL worldhas been abuzz following Abdul Carter's public criticism of hisNew York Giantsteammate Jaxson Dart's appearance at aPresident Donald Trump rally, and one formerPittsburgh Steelersdefender has weighed in on the matter.

USA TODAY

Several hours after Carter's callout on X, formerSteelersdefensive tackle Breiden Fehoko ripped into the young Giants defender over publicly ridiculing a teammate for his personal political beliefs.

"Abdul Carter is an idiot," Fehoko wrote via X. "It don’t matter what political beliefs you believe in you don’t call out a teammate publicly for his beliefs. Out of all people to talk."

The situation in question stems from Dart introducing President Trump before a speech in New York, where Carterreplied to a videoof the event, claiming he originally believed it was AI before questioning his Giants teammate.

While Carter later claimed he and Dart addressed the situation together, Fehoko's point centered on handling the disagreement privately rather than on social media.

Fehoko, who spent his final two seasons with the Steelers, has never shied away from speaking his mind, and he made it clear he believed Carter crossed a line by calling out Dart.
