A strapless corset, dramatic tutu, and elegant braided bun:Chase Infiniti, in her ballerina look, was the coolest girl at the party.

To promote her forthcoming series,The Testaments, at its Los Angeles premiere, Infiniti worked with stylist duoWayman Bannerman and Micah McDonaldon a ballet-core ensemble that gave the trend a fresh twist. The focal point of the ensemble was, of course, the star's Louis Vuitton gown—a theatrical, striking piece designed custom by Nicolas Ghesquiere.

The number, with its traditional silhouette and subtle edge, balanced soft femininity with cool-girl drama. On top, the strapless champagne corset bodice was constructed with exposed boning and quilted detailing, grounding the dress with structure and tailoring.

The skirt, on the other hand, was anything but skintight—with layers and layers of transparent nude tulle creating a massive, gathered tutu that erupted from the wearer's hips. Its rough, cropped hemline exposed a bit of ankle for a distinctly contemporary feel, showing off Infiniti's matching suede pumps.

And when it came to the theme, the team didn't stop there. For the actor's hair, stylist Coree Moreno set out to achieve a "ballerina-meets-Afro futurism" 'do, creating a braided bun that tied the whole look together. Makeup artist Amber Dreadon gave Infiniti a fresh and sparkling glam, with glistening eyeshadow, soft highlighter, and acool-toned frosted lip.

The Testaments, based on Margaret Atwood's novel of the same name, will land on Hulu on April 8. It serves as the continuation ofThe Handmaid's Tale, following a new generation of young women in Gilead.
