The first episode of the new season, Season 11, "Hearing Test," explores how Peppa's younger brother George isdiagnosed as moderately deaf.

In the episode, Peppa and George take a hearing test during a regular doctor's visit. When the family learns George has moderate hearing loss, he is fitted with a hearing aid that helps him"experience the world of sound in a new way,"according to Hasbro.

Peppa Pig's younger brother George is moderately deaf. His story, which begins with a diagnosis, will be explored in Season 11, which airs on Nickelodeon on March 23, 2026 at 10 a.m. ET.

For the season premiere, George's audiologist in the episode is voiced byJodie Ounsley, the first deaf female rugby player to represent England.

"Peppa Pig" has historically celebrated diverse characters, such as Mandy Mouse, who uses a wheelchair, and Penny Polar Bear, who has two mothers. By introducing George's new storyline, Hasbro hopes to ensure more children see themselves represented, the company said in a news release.

To ensure accuracy and sensitivity in the new season, Hasbro partnered with the National Deaf Children's Society, Hearing Loss Association of America, and Camilla Arnold, a deaf executive producer.

Throughout 2026, Hasbro and the Hearing Loss Association of America will collaborate on family-focused initiatives throughout the United States, including participation in the nationwide Walk4Hearing events in May, a Hasbro news release states.
